Principle Investigator

Binil Starly is currently appointed as a Professor in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. His research and education interests include cyber-physical systems in manufacturing, decentralized manufacturing marketplaces and Manufacturing for regenerative medicine. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 from Drexel University, Philadelphia.

He also serves as the Director of the Functional Tissue Engineering Group at the Comparative Medicine Institute at NC State University, beginning Sept 1st 2017.
